President Gitanas Nausėda - Patron of Global Lithuanian Awards

“One Lithuania” does not come down to mere lines on the map. It is carried in the hearts of many people who spread the Lithuanian spirit wide and far. We build bridges that link our hearts together – bridges to share international experience, ideas, contacts, resources, and discoveries.

This living connection obliterates the artificial divide between “yours” and “ours”. We all are world Lithuanians, despite of the thousands of miles between us. We are strong only when we stand together. We have a common past and we have, I truly believe, a common future.

As the Year of World Lithuanians draws to a close, we say openly and clearly that it will never end. Time is incapable of impeding the inner drive to contribute to national progress through visions and ideas. The Global Lithuanian Leaders network is celebrating ten years of its inspiring mission. It now heralds in a new ambitious decade. Your mentorship, meaningful projects and determination to be actively engaged in the life of Lithuania manifest genuine love of Homeland that has no beginning and no end either on the timeline or round the globe.

Let us build Lithuania together! May each and every of us be Lithuania’s ambassador!

The President of the Respublic of Lithuania
Gitanas Nausėda
