February Updates

Snowy winters make great settings for us to dream about Spring. And we're doing just that! Kyle, our Urban Farm Manager, has already ordered and started test runs of seeds to make sure we have a great bounty this summer! We've also been busy planning our expansion in VINES Farm Share and Community Gardens. And perhaps the part we're most excited for, we're officially hiring for the Grow Binghamton season. 

As you know, this is going to be a year of growth, and we're so excited to be growing food and growing community with you all.

It's easy to #LoveThatLot when vacant lots have been transformed into beautiful community spaces and community gardens.

Pictured under the snow here is VINES' Abbott Street Community Garden which was built in the fall of 2018. Stay tuned for phase two of this garden which will include the construction of Handicap-accessible beds! We will be working on that this spring with neighbors and volunteers.
