Planting trees with GreenGold

Excited to share some green news! In connection to the 8th European Banking & Finance Conference 2020 SCCL launched a CO2 compensation initiative to offset the carbon footprint generated on the organizational level.
The CO2 emission data was collected and processed by Klappir Lithuania. The offset was carried out by planting trees in cooperation with our Member GreenGold Management - a forestry company with a focus on a long-term and evergreen sustainable economical and ecological return. Throughout the planted trees life-cycle, the conference footprint will be fully compensated and neutralized.

Nordic - Baltic Sustainable Business Summit

This time in the annual Nordic-Baltic Sustainable Business Summit conference executives of international companies and sustainability experts contemplated COVID-19 impact on a sustainable approach. As noted by speakers, it is time
to empower leadership think forward & be prepared to bring new ideas for them to flourish better because
the sustainability agenda is a necessity for our times.
Neste vice president for sustainability Salla Ahonen
says that the global pandemic has only further strengthened the company's plans to implement sustainable solutions in the transportation and plastics industries therefore Neste makes 80% of its profit from the renewable business.
As she notes, if you do it voluntarily, you can decide your own agenda.
A path toward quality solutions and choosing to act responsibly as an example of Klaipeda Free Economic Zone
will lead to a more sustainable tomorrow. So let us not wait for another crisis and let's think about what we can do for people, society, and businesses while carrying sustainability in our heads as a path which humanity is taking it now all together!
