| Our Summer Devotional Series |
|
|
Summer often brings a shift in pace.
Schedules change, routines loosen, and the steady rhythms that help us stay grounded can quietly fade without us even noticing.
Thatâs why weâre beginning the Summer Reset Challenge.
Summer Reset is a weekly devotional series designed to help us build Christ-centered rhythms that keep us close to Jesus in a season that can often feel busy, inconsistent, and unstructured. Itâs also for anyone who feels like they are starting from scratch spiritually, not just maintaining what is already there.
This is not about creating a perfect spiritual routine or adding pressure to an already full season. It is about learning simple, faithful rhythms that help us stay anchored in Jesus in real and practical ways. This includes slowing down enough to notice Godâs presence, choosing rest that restores, practicing silence, and learning to be fully present with God and others.
Each week will include a theme, Scripture, a practical step, and a prayer to help move from reflection into everyday life.
Whether you feel spiritually steady or spiritually scattered, this is an invitation to take honest steps toward a life with Jesus that is sustainable, life-giving, and rooted.
Summer Reset begins June 1.
This series will be shared weekly on Mondays through our church Instagram and Facebook. Follow along with us throughout the summer:
Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/cclwcommunity/
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cclwcommunity
We encourage you to join in, reflect each week, and walk through this season together.

| Providing gospel-centered care, medical services, and support to men and women facing unplanned pregnancies in our community. |
|
| Palmetto Womenâs Center |
|
|
Palmetto Womenâs Center exists to promote life by walking alongside individuals facing unplanned pregnancies with compassion, truth, and the hope of the Gospel. Since its humble beginnings in a living room, the center has now served over 40,000 clients in the York and Chester areasâoffering free pregnancy services, counseling, parenting education, and ongoing support for both women and men. Their heart is not only to help people choose life for their unborn child, but also to experience eternal life through Christ and abundant life in Him.
As a church, we have unique opportunities throughout the year to partner with Palmetto Womenâs Center and support the life-changing work they are doing in our community.
There are several ongoing ways to be involved: you can give through one-time donations, become a monthly partner to provide consistent support, or explore legacy giving through planned or IRA contributions. You can donate needed material items for babies and the center, or even support through event sponsorships that help fund their ministry. If youâre interested in more hands-on involvement, consider serving as a Client Advocate, Dad Coach, or BrightCourse mentorâwalking directly with clients during a critical season of their lives.
Please pray for the staff and volunteers to serve with wisdom, compassion, and boldness, and for every client to experience both practical care and the life-changing love of Jesus.

| Reaching young people across the Middle East and North Africa with the Gospel through relational ministry, leadership development, and life-changing camp experiences. |
|
| YoungLife MENA (Middle East/North Africa) |
|
|
For the past 15 years, Young Life MENA has been faithfully sharing the hope of Jesus with thousands of students across regions like North Africa, Israel, Jordan, Turkey, and beyond. In 2025 alone, more than 2,700 young people attended camp and heard the Gospel in seven different languages, while over 3,300 kids are known by name and 1,400 attend weekly clubsâspaces where caring leaders show up consistently to build relationships and point students to Christ. Even in places facing conflict, displacement, and spiritual resistance, God is opening doorsâfrom growing ministries in Morocco and Tunisia to new opportunities in Palestine, Jordan, and among refugee populations in Turkey.
As a church, we can come alongside this work by praying for endurance and boldness for staff and volunteer leaders, for open hearts among students, and for continued access in areas where the Gospel is not easily received. Pray especially for new and developing ministries in Egypt, Lebanon, and Iraqi Kurdistan, and for wisdom as they expand into additional countries.
If youâre interested in getting involved, consider supporting this ministry financially, staying engaged with updates, and being open to opportunities to serve or connect globally as the Lord leads.

| Habitat for Humanity Women Build |
|
|
Floor trusses, teamwork, and big hearts. Proud of our CCLW crew at the Habitat Women Build site last weekend!
Volunteers from CCLW served at the Habitat for Humanity Women Build site on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 106 Zion Church Road in Clover.
Our team helped install floor trusses, which form the structural base for the homeâs first level. This work required teamwork and plenty of arm strength as we lifted, positioned, aligned, and secured each truss under the guidance of Habitatâs construction crew.
By completing this phase, our group helped move the build forward and brought the future homeowner one step closer to a safe, stable home. We are grateful for our ongoing partnership with Habitat for Humanity of York County.
Looking to serve with Habitat?
Mark your calendar for our next CCLW event on Saturday, September 19th. Details to come.

FOOD ASSISTANCE FOR THE BLESSING BOX
Clover Area Assistance Center (CAAC) prevailed on CCLW to install a mini pantry (Blessing Box) in 2023. The canned goods left in the box are intended for the local homeless as well as families who need help stretching their food supply. The Blessing Box is on the parking lot side of our church (follow the signs from Highway 49).
We need your help. In order to keep this pantry filled with appropriate foodstuffs, we ask that you buy a few extra cans of food (see the separate list) when you are grocery shopping each week. Simply place them directly in the Blessing Box or bring them inside the church. A member of the Missions Committee will do the rest.

| Young Adults! Find Your People at Saturday Socials! |
|
|
Young adults today have been called the loneliest generation, the most anxious generation, and the most digitally connectedâbut relationally disconnectedâgeneration.
Making friends and building meaningful community as an adult can be genuinely difficult. Between busy schedules, changing seasons of life, work, marriage, kids, school, online distractions, and constant transition, many young adults are longing for deeper connection but unsure where to find it.
Thatâs why our Young Adult Ministry is launching Saturday Socialsâonce-a-month relaxed hangouts designed to help young adults build friendships and community outside of Sunday mornings.
These gatherings will be simple, low-pressure, and kid-friendly whenever possible, making it easier for young adults in every season of life to participate. Some Saturdays will be menâs or womenâs gatherings, while others will be co-ed. Activities may include coffee meetups, local outings, sports, creative activities, outdoor hangouts, and more around the Lake Wylie area and nearby communities.
Weâd love for you to be part of it.
Fill out the Saturday Socials interest form through the button below and help us kick things off!
