I used AI software to create this image, by entering the text "Full color peacock, facing front, holding a fountain pen". I got a number of image creations back (some of which I've interspersed throughout the YouTube video linked below), but this was one of my favorites.

Joining the N7 Gray Rabbit I reviewed last time, the N7 Blue Peacock (I vote for calling the color TEAL), this series of piston-fill fountain pens have become the true value-leaders among inexpensive -- and very high quality -- new writers. 

I'm continually impressed by the writing quality right out of the box of the Hong Dian pens. Unique, artistic designs, with a fit-and-finish to rival western offerings at a small fraction of the price.
