Come out on Friday 4/15 and Saturday 4/16 from 8am to 8pm to pick up some quality flowers and support GSFR!

Garden Spot Fire Rescue will once again hold their Cadet Fire Camp from June 13th to June 17th! Youth ages 10 to 14 are encouraged to apply for this week-long camp that focuses on fire and rescue skills, leadership qualities, physical and mental strength, and team-building activities. On January 22nd, members of Garden Spot Fire Rescue, along with neighboring mutual aid departments, battled a two-alarm dwelling fire in Earl Township. Firefighters were challenged to move water to the scene and position equipment in a secluded area with limited access points. 

After several hours of battling the ongoing flames, the house and surrounding barn were considered a complete loss. The fire had progressed for a few hours before firefighters had arrived. Firefighters continued to place water on the remains to ensure there was not a "re-flash" and that the surrounding area remained safe.
