Time is running out if you’d like to join over 1,000 Swindon residents who have already registered for the latest round of Solar Together.

The deadline to register your initial interest in being part of this year’s scheme is this Friday (29 August).

Since 2022, over 600 Swindon households have installed a total of 6,074 solar panels through Solar Together Wiltshire, with 91 per cent also opting to install a battery to maximise their use of self-generated electricity.

North Swindon resident Julie Hamilton signed up to Solar Together two years ago and has not looked back, saving money off her electricity bills with her panels generating additional power to sell back to the national grid.

“I would highly recommend Solar Together,” said the married mum-of-two. “Since the start of this calendar year, I’ve spent less than a hundred pounds on electricity, which is amazing.
