Best Sellers April

In April  Kazuo Ishiguro’s eighth novel, “Klara and the Sun” stayed at the top of the list with 1,598 sales (-552).

“The Dictionary of Lost Words” by Pip Williams maintained second position with 1,308 sales (+139) while ‘Where’s Bluey?‘ entered with 999 sales (one of four Bluey titles on the Best Seller list this month).

I did a double take when I saw the stats for April but of course we are seeing the results of the April 2020 lockdowns. Things are in fact 1000% better for NZ shops this year. If you look past this anomaly Year To Date is still pretty good NZ +23% AU + 18%.
