Three UPM volunteers produce face shields against COVID-19 for hospitals

Since the start of the Movement Control Order on 18 March 2020 across the country to prevent the COVID-19 outbreak from spreading, the Emergency Response Team at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) (ERT-UPM COVID-19) has played a crucial role in ensuring UPM’s continuity of services and preparedness in handling the issue quickly and effectively. ASK successfully attracted 500 guests.

19 February 2020, UPM – Alumni Sharing Knowledge (ASK) titled Career in the Blue Sky: Glamor and Reality were managed to attract 500 guests from UPM alumni and students. The programme was held at the Pendeta Za’ba College was organised by the Alumni Centre in collaboration with College Pendeta Za’ba and College 13, UPM. ASK is an opportunity for UPM students and alumni to share and discuss career fields in the blue sky, expertise and other experiences within and outside UPM. Read more

Cat Talk Programmes under "Alumni Community" attracts alumni's attention

18 Jan 2020, UPM - Alumni Centre organised a programme under Alumni Volunteer Ambassador in sub category of Alumni Community. This programme was titled “Cat Talk with Dr. Puteri Azaziah”. Dr. Puteri Azaziah is an alumna of UPM, class of 2005. She is currently working at the UPM Veterinary Hospital. The programme aims to provide opportunities for alumni to learn about pet care and safety. Alumni also shared their experiences, information and emotional support when handled pet care. Read more

TAD @Johor successfully traced 168 alumni

2-6 Feb 2020, Johor – Alumni Centre UPM has committed to planning and organising various alumni programmes in order to sustaining a long-term relationship between alumni and its alma mater. Tracing Alumni @District Johor (TAD) was the second series in 2020. This programme focuses on several agencies under state governance. The programme aimed to trace the alumni in a small group through selected agencies in order to strengthen the alumni relationship in respective agencies and indirectly get them to contribute back to alma mater. Read more
