I just got back from filling my well...
It is a saying I use quite a bit, and after all that has happened, I was feeling it a bit more this time around as packed for my trip. Now that I'm back, I realized that the trip gave me just what I needed... fresh air, laughter and a Texas-sized dose of friendship.
The weather couldn't have been more beautiful and was sunny and in the 60s-70s pretty much the entire time we were in Austin. I found plenty of street art to take pictures of, which is totally my thing, and shared posts of my shenanigans on Instagram and Facebook if you would like to check them out. We managed to work around crowds, staying in open spaces and sunshine every chance we had. I loved every minute!
The second book in my Goddesses In Love series is coming along finally, I think the vacation had a lot to do with waking my Muses. We are all ready to get back to work, and it is nice being on the same page, so to speak. I am also anxious to get back into Book 2 of my Paranormal Mystery series now that I went on a ghost walk in Austin, which filled my mind with possibilities. It was so much fun to hear about the local history, and we learned a bit about one of the most haunted sites in Austin, The Driskill Hotel. It had me comparing The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO, and the book that came from it by Stephen King. While I don't think I will write something as scary as The Shining, I am looking forward to challenging myself to branch out. So fun to think about!
I have an upcoming book signing and was featured in a digital magazine this month, so be sure to check out the links below! In the meantime, have an amazing April and I will see you next month!
