Our latest Adelaide Fringe Professional Development Session is now ready to watch. In this session we dig deeper into analysing what your creative work is worth. Off the back of your Adelaide Fringe season you might be considering onward presenting opportunities – whether that be as a result of Honey Pot or through your own research and desire to present your work commercially.
Monica Davidson, Director with Creative Plus Business Group is an experienced practitioner in providing tools for artists to develop skills and knowledge. In this session she’ll help you work out what to charge for your creative work, a show or even an idea. We’ll look at the basics of figuring out the price point for creative work in general, including calculating costs and understanding what the market can bear, as well as examining the landscape for ‘selling’ shows in Australia - touching on some tips and tricks for negotiation.
