The EaP CSF is excited to announce that this year’s Annual Assembly will take place online on 30 November until 2 December 2021. The 13th EaP CSF Annual Assembly will be centered around the theme of “Road to recovery: fostering reform and resilience for a stronger Eastern Partnership”. The EaP CSF Secretariat continues with the new Re-granting to Members (FSTP) programme, which is distributed via three lots. Lot 1 is aimed at monitoring of the new EaP deliverables and targets as defined in the Joint Staff Working Document, while Lot 2 supports projects addressing the Forum’s strategic advocacy priorities. Lot 3 aims to support the work of EaP CSF member organisations to develop and deliver on the strategic policy and capacity building priorities of the Forum within the regional dimension and strengthen mutual learning between the members.

Within the call for proposals under the EaP CSF Re-granting to members - Lot 3 - Strengthening the linkage between the EaP CSF’s members, the Secretariat selected 4 projects. The projects started their activity at the beginning of May. Access the Re-granting page for more information.

Within the call for proposals under the EaP CSF Re-granting to members – Lot 1 and Lot 2, the Selection Committee chose 1 project for Lot 1 and three projects for Lot 2, among 19 eligible proposals. Find the list of selected Re-granting projects on our website.

Implemented under the framework of the EaP CSF Re-granting project "The Role of the CSOs in DCFTA Implementation in Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine”, the Georgian Institute of Politics, together with the IPRE and IER hosted an online event on 11 October 2021. The cross-country multi-stakeholder discussion focused on how CSOs see their role in informing SMEs regarding trade relations between EaP states and the EU.

The EaP CSF released a position paper on the Joint Staff Working Document on recovery, resilience and reform: post-2020 Eastern Partnership priorities. This position paper outlines civil society’s recommendations on several issues within the proposed post-2020 priorities that deserve further reflection from the European Union in order to set out a convincing, definitive and ambitious plan to chart an unambiguous course of action for recovery that also delivers on the political promises of the joint initiative.
