3rd ExportUSA Forum @ USATIF2018

The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and its International Trade Department “TradeUSA”, in cooperation with the Federation of Industries of Northern Greece (SBBE) and Greek Exporters’ Association (SEVE), hosted the 3rd ExportUSA Forum “FoodUSA: Innovation & Disruption is ON” on Monday, September 10, 2018 at the Congress Centre “Ioannis Vellidis” in Thessaloniki.

The conference was organized within the framework of the organization of the U.S. Pavilion at the 83rd Thessaloniki International Fair, where the USA was the honored country, and was marked by great success and participation by a great number of distinguished guests and representatives of the Greek exporters’ business community.

Food Facilities Must Renew U.S. FDA Registrations Between October 1 and December 31, 2018

The U.S. FDA requires food facilities to renew their FDA registrations between October 1 and December 31 each even-numbered year.  Greek facilities must designate a U.S. Agent during their renewal.  FDA will not consider a registration renewal complete until the U.S. Agent accepts the designation.  In 2017, FDA cancelled 48% of Greek food facility registrations for failure to renew during the 2016 renewal period.  Ensure your registration stays valid for 2019.
