FURIES — contemporary dance festival in Marsoui is launching its online ticket office today and all the details for this 3rd edition to be held from July 28 to 31 in Haute-Gaspésie! With nearly 30 activities on the agenda, FURIES 2022 promises to be a blast: in situ performances, indoor shows, workshops for the general public, festive evenings, talks with artists, Afro trap sessions, bathing in the sea, activities for young audiences, bonfires, Qi Gong sessions, gourmet products, micro-concert, screening under the stars and more! ✨

The 3rd edition of FURIES is also:

• Internationally acclaimed performances presented for the first time in Gaspésie (with Dana Michel and Louise Lecavalier);
• Creations especially conceived for FURIES and presented in secret places (with Louise Bédard and Théâtre Témoin) as well as a premiere that will begin its journey in Marsoui (with Soleil Launière & Joséphine Bacon);
• Colorful and surprising performances to be contemplated in the Haute-Gaspésie landscape (with Marie Lambin-Gagnon and Sarah Wendt + Pascal Dufaux);
• A section highlighting the work of Afro-descendant artists with guest artist-curator Karla Étienne (Aly Keita, Marie-Reine Kabasha, Mecdy Mystic Rootz at the Maison de la culture de Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, as well as a Café-causerie in the park);
• Moments to move as a group, with fun and without pressure (Afro trap sessions in the park, Qi Gong at the beach and Party FURIES);
• A young audience program with the artist Nate Yaffe who proposes to awaken creativity with a show-workshop in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts and a workshop in Marsoui;
• Live music for our greatest pleasure (with Elena Stoodley and Papillon by Helen Simard);
• Screendance artists to discover, who make us see and feel movement differently;
• and much more!

At the end of a two-week residency offered with the support of La Danse sur les routes du Québec, the Montreal collective LA TRESSE invites you to discover their work and their artistic approach during a friendly 4@7 on June 25 at Salon58 !
