It's time for a newsletter I've LONGED to write. It includes all kinds of fun pictures and info from my own Barbados trip, the one that inspired How to Honeymoon Alone. 

It also includes a giveaway I've been dying to run. See, for this release, I put together beautiful, tropical-themed book boxes, and sent them to book bloggers in the community to help spread the word. The boxes include lip balm flavored with pina colada (how cool is that?) and the cutest little turtle plushie in the world.

Many things I put in Honeymoon came straight from my own (research) trip. The hike where Eden and Phillip have their kiss in the rain? Pictured below. 

Eden reading on her Kindle by the beach and drinking rum sours? I did that. 

Snorkelling off a catamaran with sea turtles (while borrowing a friend's Go Pro camera)? That really happened! 

I even got deep into true crime podcasts during my trip, just like Eden, and went on not one but TWO different rum tastings. Let me tell you, I was in a fantastic mood when I walked out of those, lol. 

Probably not in a straight line though!
