Listen Faster! (2x speed settings)

When watching videos, or listening to audio books or podcasts, most platforms allow you to speed up the playback speed, which is great because our brains have no problem comprehending the meaning behind words even when played at 2x or even sometimes 3x speed! Caveat: It can take a little getting used to, taste-wise, but perhaps start off on a simple 1.2x increase, and go from there. :)

WhatsApp recently added the ability to listen to a voice note at 1.5x or 2x speed by tapping the "1x" button to the right of a message while it's playing.

YouTube also allows this by clicking the 'settings wheel' and adjusting playback speed, or pressing the "Shift + ." or "Shift + ," keys (that's period and comma) together.

Several other programs are using or introducing this. I now listen to Audible on 1.8x for most books and am really enjoying getting through more great books this way!
