Dear parents, carers and members of our community,
Welcome to our bulletin for June.
Our news this month includes a 'thank you' to My Journey and Pulp Friction now that our popular social eating project - 'My Journey to Deli Llama' has ended. We are going back to our 'Parent to Parent' sessions until September when we are planning to launch a new social eating project with Pulp Friction. We are very grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with like minded organisations.
From June, we plan to host our monthly Parent to Parent sessions (P2P) across the city in order to meet and include a wider community. There will be a Nottingham City PCF steering group member present to keep parent carers updated where possible. Some of the PCF's recent engagement includes the Health Inequalities Project (funded by Learning Disability England, the Race Equality Foundation and NHSE England). Please contact us if you have any suggestions for parent-friendly accessible venues in your areas where we can meet for a cuppa and catch up with other parents.
We are also working alongside Djanogly City and Djanogly Strelley Academy's, co-delivering the Autism in Schools CCG funded project developing mini forums at these 2 schools. If you require any further information please get in touch.
Please note that we have revised some of the session times - please see below.
We hope you enjoy the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend and make the most of the good weather.
Best wishes from the Rainbow Team
