Pillow Talk - An Organic October

Those of you who live in a part of the world where there are actual, organic seasons should consider yourselves beyond blessed. Don't get us wrong, we do love our desert. But an 80-degree fall just doesn't quite feel the same! So, we resort to heatless fireplaces, pumpkin scented candles and décor that brings the ambiance of autumn...while we sit in our A/C homes.

As we said last month, we're keeping it fairly neutral with decorations this season. We asked ourselves, why not decorate for fall in general, now, for easy transition from harvest celebrations to the month of Thanksgiving? We are just too busy (and we know you are too!) to change it up monthly. Who has time for that?
Time-saving tips and efficiency are our love language right now! Busy, you say, how so? Well, for one, with it being that time of year when we think a bit more about others, we have a couple ways we'd like to give back to our community. Read below for more details on both opportunities involving breast cancer awareness and military families.

Another reason we're hustling this month is due to all the exciting new products and designs we have in store (pun intended) for you all! Think canvas hand-paintings transferred to pillow cases, colors and holiday prints inspired by our recent trip to Israel, and custom orders like the one shown below in our customer spotlight! Looking Ahead, Giving Back

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and to play our part in it, from now until the end of the year we'll be donating $5 to supporting this cause for every purchase of a Breast Cancer Awareness themed pillow cover. We're super excited to team up with Scott Schwartz and the American Cancer Society in a Fundraiser event. Tell all your friends! Help us fund the research and give hope to those fighting breast cancer now!
Do you know a family whose member is currently serving as active-duty in the military? Let it be known: In light of Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving next month, we are looking for five military families to sponsor in our own Uniik way, by sending a FREE family photo pillow to your deployed family member. We know the holidays are an even harder time to be separated from loved ones, so we want to do what we can to make it bearable. Please reach out to us so we can make this happen!

Ali Roberts wanted a vintage music pillow with the music from her first dance at her wedding. It was an amazing and fun pillow to make and it turned out beautifully. Truely a pillow to cherish forever!

As you can imagine, with all of the many pillow designs we always have in stock, some do get retired or at least put on hold until they're relevant again. This is one great reason to visit us in person! You never know what kind of bargain you'll find on a style that isn't in-season, or a trial-run cover we haven't created more of yet.
