Property owners are entitled to due process in appealing their Four Lakes lake level assessment under the Inland Lake Level Act, Part 307 of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act. As Four Lakes Task Force (FLTF) resolves logistics and jurisdiction issues, we want property owners to know that FLTF will not object to appeals on the grounds of late filing if the appeal is submitted by August 15^th.

The Circuit Court issued a notice that all appeals from the special assessment roll approved by the Midland and Gladwin County Boards of Commissioners in this matter should be made by filing a written appeal of the special assessment with the state tax tribunal.
