Larnelle Harris and Sandi Patty are known for their Grammy winning gospel duet, More Than Wonderful. The lyrics of that song undoubtedly affirm… “He’s everything that my soul ever longed for, He’s everything He’s promised and so much more, He’s more than amazing, more than marvelous, more than miraculous could ever be!” Jesus has so many names in the Bible, each with its own significance. Here are a few more…
Author and Finisher of Our Faith
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2).
Lamb of God
“The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” (John 1:29).
Good Shepherd
“I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep” (John 10:11).
The Shepherd and Bishop of Souls
“For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls” (1 Peter 2:25).
The Word
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1).
Fountain of Living Waters
“O Lord, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living waters.” (Jeremiah 17:13).
Rock
“He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.” (Deuteronomy 32:4)
To God Be The Glory for Jesus, the Rock of our Salvation! He is a sure and eternal refuge. 1 Peter 2:6 reminds us, “The one who trusts in him will never be put to shame”.

Thank you for your trust in us and giving us the opportunity to look for our interim pastor. We want you to know your voice matters in every step of this process whether in person or virtually. In light of that, we have created askpleas@outlook.com which is an email to submit all content regarding the interim pastor search. This includes suggestions, questions and any other concerns regarding this process. Every submission will remain confidential and only members of the committee will have access. Any physical submissions can be put in the ballot boxes located on either side of the pulpit and these boxes will remain locked. If you need help with anything please reach out any of the committee members. Again the email is askpleas@outlook.com and thank you for your continuous prayers and support.

FLU
Flu is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses that infect the nose, throat, and sometimes the lungs. It can cause mild to severe illness, and at times can lead to death.
Flu shots are available at local pharmacies. Consult your physician regarding a flu vaccination.
RSV
Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a common, contagious virus that usually causes mild symptoms. In older adults and adults with certain underlying conditions, RSV can cause severe infections.
RSV shots are available at local pharmacies. Consult your physician regarding a RSV vaccination.
COVID-19
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Most people infected with the virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. However, some will become seriously ill and require medical attention. Older people and those with underlying medical conditions like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, or cancer are more likely to develop serious illness. Anyone can get sick with COVID-19 and become seriously ill or die at any age.
The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is to be well informed about the disease and how the virus spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by staying at least 1 metre apart from others, wearing a properly fitted mask, and washing your hands or using an alcohol-based rub frequently. Get vaccinated when it’s your turn and follow local guidance.
The virus can spread from an infected person’s mouth or nose in small liquid particles when they cough, sneeze, speak, sing or breathe. These particles range from larger respiratory droplets to smaller aerosols. It is important to practice respiratory etiquette, for example by coughing into a flexed elbow, and to stay home and self-isolate until you recover if you feel unwell.
Both COVID vaccines and Booster COVID vaccines are available at local pharmacies. Consult your physician regarding COVID vaccinations.
