Grateful Thankful Blessed
Happy November! Well, we’ve celebrated All Saint’s Day, voted in the primary election, and thanked all our veterans for their service to our country so far this month. Next up, we have American Education Week, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday.
I’ve never been one to shop on Black Friday. Crowds ramp up my anxiety and I refuse to fight over something for a lesser price. I may venture out a little this year because my niece asked me if I wanted to go for a lil bit. We’ll see since I usually decorate for Christmas on the Friday after Thanksgiving (like Hope does in A Baby Changes Everything).
Plus, since COVID, I kind of like shopping online whenever I can. 😊
Around here, school is generally closed the week of Thanksgiving. We have a lot of hunters who work in the school system, but if I’m not wrong, Thanksgiving is one of the most highly traveled holidays in the US. Gives people time to get away, visit family and friends, and rest and rejuvenate while being thankful.
Since my immediate family is all nearby, we usually celebrate at our house with all the trimmings. It’s a lot of work, but the food is so good. And because we often take a lot in life for granted, this year, I hope we can each offer up something for which we are grateful while we’re gathered around the table together.
I have a lot to be grateful for. My family and friends. Realizing my dream to become a published author through an actual publisher (Rosewood Books). Acquiring an awesome editing team who’s already hard at work getting A Proposal Changes Everything ready for its January release.
And of course, I’m very grateful for all of you! For signing up for this newsletter, for reading my books, for leaving ratings and reviews, and for offering support, suggestions, encouragement, etc., through your emails. (I love to hear from my readers).
Below, please find a selection of books from my fellow authors as well as my own. I hope you find something to enjoy. And as always, Be Safe, Be Well, and Take Good Care of YOU!!!
Thanks for Reading!
