Remember last week when I sent you my nine boundaries, one of which said, "I don't work on Saturdays"?
It's Saturday.
I fully intended to write yesterday, but I got sucked into a TikTok rabbit hole after lunch and ended up laying on the floor for about 45 minutes. And I'm on vacay next week…or "relocation to better scenery" as I call vacation with a toddler.
I'm quickly learning that protecting my focus helps me stay within the guardrails. Focus allows for a few things:
- Helps me get into a state of flow that feels so freaking good.
- Helps me free up time to do more of the things I actually want to do.
- Produces better work.
But when we live in a world of back-to-back meetings, prioritizing everyone else's fire drills, and freaking TikTok. It's pretty damn hard.
