Keswick Is Counting Down The Days Until April 12th

The weather is improving with more sunny days and the days are getting longer again.  It's hardly surprising then that we are counting down the days until overnight stays are permitted and more of our businesses can re-open.

On the 29th March some businesses were permitted to re-open such as outdoor attractions and boat hire.  You can keep track of who is opening and when on our Keswick Re-opening Information website page.

You can remind yourself of the re-opening road map key dates below.

Check Out Our New Look Website

Over the last few months we have been working on an updated and refreshed website.  We have updated some of the content and made it more user friendly and visually appealing.

It has been checked and checked again but it is possible that we may have missed something so we would love you to take a look and if you come across anything that you think isn't quite right, please do let us know by emailing info@keswick.org.  We would also love to know if there is anything that you think we can add to the website to make it even better.

Wishing You A Very Happy Easter

Everyone here at Keswick Tourism Association wishes you a very Happy Easter.  We are hoping for lovely weather so that, where ever you are, you can get outside and enjoy.

Festivals And Events Update

Keswick Mountain Festival has been postponed until 10th - 12th September.  Find out more on the KMF website.

Keswick Beer Festival has sadly been cancelled for 2021 but will be back in all its glory in 2022.  For more information visit the Beer Festival website.

Keswick Midsummer Festival will not be taking place in June, however it is hoped that it can be rescheduled, in some form, for later in the year.  We will share more information as soon as we have it.

A Roadmap Back To Re-opening

As of 29th March the stay at home order formally ended but the advice is to minimise travel and stay local.

12th April* will see our shops re-open and pubs and restaurants can serve food and drink outside.  Outdoor attractions can re-open and overnight stays will again be permitted.  At this stage only self-catering accommodation will be allowed to open.

From 17th May* all other accommodation can re-open and pubs and restaurants can return to serving food and drink inside.

We know that many of you can't wait to get back to Keswick.  We recommend that you book your accommodation as soon as you can to avoid disappointment and consider booking in advance for evening meals as well.  We will keep our website as up to date as possible with information about opening times, etc.

By 21st June* it is hoped that all other businesses, not covered in earlier stages, can re-open.

At each stage social contact limits will apply and our businesses will be working hard to ensure that they can still provide you with the best level of service whilst adhering to the rules.

If you have any specific queries or need any help planning, please do get in touch with us and we will be happy to help in any way we can.

*dates are subject to final confirmation.

Now more than ever, our businesses need you to book through visitkeswick.com or direct.  If you need any information or advice, we will be more than happy to help you.  Just email us at info@keswick.org.
