Adult Reading Challenge

The libraries in the county are partnering with a few area nursing homes to provide an Adult Reading Challenge for adults 50 years old and older. There are weekly drawings with a final grand prize of a Kindle Fire. The contest runs from February 1st - March 1st. Entry slips can be turned in at any of the public libraries in Mercer County.

Anti-Valentines Day Party

Join us for an Anti-Valentines Day party on February 14th at 5 pm where we will destroy a pinata, feast upon a chocolate fountain, and decorate ugly cupcakes! Registration is required for grades 5-8th.

Muffins, Moms & Makeovers

Moms, be ready for the makeover of your life on Saturday, February 9th from 10-11 am! Moms and female caregivers bring your children to the library to enjoy muffins, a craft and a complete makeover by your loved ones. Registration is required.

Take Your Child to the Library Day!

Saturday, February 2nd from 9:30 to 11:30 am Take Your Child to the Library Day.  Take your child to the library day is an international initiative that encourages families everywhere to take their children to their local library.  Launched in 2011, TYCLD raised community awareness about the importance of the library in the life of a child, and promotes library services and programs for children and families.  Bring your child to the Zahn-Marion Twp. library on this day for fun activities and give-a-ways. No pre-registration required.

Donuts with Dads Round Two

Blast off the new year with Donuts and Dads! Dads, grandpas, and male caregivers can bring their kids to enjoy a fun Saturday morning with us. Donuts and juice will be available along with crafts and door prizes! You DONUT want to miss out on this event from 9:30 to 11:30 am on February 9th.

Nelly Cuddles Make & Take

Participants will get to pick an animal, pick a scent and fill it with warming grains.The cost is $30.00. Registrationand Prepayment required. Come in anytime during business hours to prepay and reserve your spot! All ages are welcome during this event on Thursday, February 14th at 6:30 pm.

Preschool Story Hour Begins

Story Hour is for children 3-5 years old. Sessions will begin the week of February 4th, 2019. There are three session times to choose from: Mondays or Tuesdays at 6:30 pm or Wednesdays at 10:00 am. Register online to sign up for the day and time preferred.

Everyday Body Care with Oils

Thursday February 21 at 6:30pm Oils with Maria will be presenting a Everyday Body Care Products class with the option of a Do it Yourself Make and Take. Join us for a class about the essential oils you can use every day in your beauty routine! The DIY items to choose from will be Natural Dry Shampoo; Serum for dry, cracked feet; Eyelash Growth Serum. There will be a charge per item to cover expenses. No registration required.
