Bluefield College Professor and poet Rob Merritt will offer (1) strategies for finding new ideas and (2) guidelines for techniques and styles for expanding the range of your poetry. For all ages & skill levels at the Bluefield Library on Tuesday, August 13 at 7pm. This is a free event.

Pool Party

The Pool Party is at the Tazewell YMCA on Aug. 4th from 1:30pm - 3:30 pm.  Turn in a completed reading log to the library by August 3rd and receive your ticket. You must return a signed “Swim Party Release and Waiver of Legal Liability.” Bring towels! Participants must be accompanied by an adult. Call the library for more details.


Mother Goose on the Loose

Join us on Tuesdays at 10am at the Tazewell Library for this award winning nursery rhyme program for children from birth through age 3. Children and caregivers enjoy nursery rhymes, music and movement during this 30 minute interactive program. An ideal early learning experience!
