Hi ,

It's been really sunny and warm in the UK recently. Sure, I like the sun, but it's been too warm for me and I've found it difficult to concentrate. All I want to do is sit somewhere cool and read! Mind you, when it's cold all I want to do is snuggle up somewhere warm and read. Are you a summer or a winter person? Or do you prefer spring or autumn? Drop me a line and let me know.

Thanks to everyone who answered last month's Quick Question. I thought I read a lot - but nearly a quarter of you read 5 or more books a week! Another quarter are like me, and read 3 to 4 books a week. Everyone else is pretty evenly split between 1 and 2 books a week. It's no wonder the free giveaways are so popular! My partner and I like walking, and when we're out and about I often spot places that inspire my writing. I like broad open spaces, woodland paths, and waterfalls.  In these three pictures the first one makes me think of the hills and farmland around House St Peter. The second is the lake where Leonie often swims and the third is the woodlands behind the hospital where Leonie runs to hide.
