Fun was had by all at Chipola’s first Trunk or Treat

Chipola College opened Indian Circle to an estimated 3500-4000 people from the community at their first ever community-wide Trunk or Treat event on Oct. 31. Chipola President Dr. Sarah Clemmons thanks everyone for their enthusiasm, energy and commitment to this event. It wasn’t any one person or group that made this successful—it was everyone working together! Rumor has it, plans are already being made for next year’s event- which is sure to be even bigger & better!

Chipola to Host Portrait Dedication for Roy Beall

Chipola College invites you to a press conference on November 14, 2022 at 10 am for a donor award ceremony for Bruce Helms. Mr. Helms is making the contribution to honor his former basketball coach and one of the founders of Chipola College, Mr. Roy Beall, Sr. As part of this event, Chipola College will hang a portrait of Mr. Roy Beall in the Student Services Building (Building A) on the hall of honor. This donation to the Roy Beall Student Support Fund is the first large contribution to Chipola’s 75^th Anniversary Campaign.

Chipola Announces Registration For Spring 2023 Classes

Registration for the Spring 2023 semester at Chipola College will open on Oct. 31 for all currently enrolled students. New students can register as early as Nov. 7. Spring classes begin on Monday, Jan. 9.

Multiple Scholarships Available

The Chipola Foundation is accepting applications for several scholarships for the Spring 2023 semester. Including the McLendon, the First Generation, the Florida Blue & Allied Health and the Sydney Holland scholarships.

Garcia Memorial Scholarship

The family of Landon Garcia established a scholarship in his memory through the Chipola College Foundation. The scholarship will be awarded in June 2023 and applications will be available beginning in March 2023.

TRiO Lead Conference 2022

The 2022-23 TRiO Society officers attended a student leadership conference at Enterprise State Community College. LEAD Conference 2022 – Success is a direction not a destination was hosted by the SSS program at Enterprise State Community College.

Chipola Hosts ACT Prep Class

On Saturday, October 8, 2022, Chipola College hosted an ACT prep class for District Dual-Enrollment high school students who participated in the Dual Enrollment Academy this past summer. The class was a great success with over 30 students representing Calhoun, Liberty, Jackson, and Washington counties in attendance.

Indians rally in second half for 84-75 win on Opening Night

The Indians used a big second half on Tuesday night to take down Coastal Alabama North at the Milton H. Johnson Center.
