Just some updates 😊

Release, Shop, and plans for further books.

First off, let me preface this newsletter with this: If you hear any screaming in your corner of the world, it absolutely, undeniably isn't me. Definitely not, and how dare you imply it is?! Now why is this not-me-screaming happening?

Because "Scars & Souvenirs" has officially been released into the wild! (Okay, so maybe I'm the one screaming in delight... You can't prove it.)

The sequel is coming along nicely (as long as I don’t try to write the first chapter—why are they so hard?!). I’ve also decided, at the very persistent coercion (and guilt-trips) from my aunt, to release a book of poetry. I haven’t written poems since I was in high school, so this is an relatively unfamiliar venture for me. I’m quite thrilled with what I have so far, however, and I’m giddy with excitement at publishing it.

Now, as I mentioned in the last newsletter, I was opening a shop on my website for signed copies of "Scars & Souvenirs". This is completely optional on your behalf—don't think I'll hunt you down if you don't buy one. It will be the ONLY place you can buy one. This book is wonderful. I quite enjoyed reading it simply because it was an easy—yet highly entertaining—read. I know the small-town life (what's up, Indiana?). The story has ups and downs, and the characters were highly relateable, even if they're teenagers and I'm... no longer a teenager.

Music Corner

This week's Music Corner is Mordred's Lullaby by Heather Dale. The song is a twist on the King Arthur/Morgana le Fay legend. Sung from Morgana's perspective, it tells of her views of King Arthur and his reign, and her plans for vengeance. It's hauntingly beautiful and very much an earworm.
