Happy Christmas!
As is the trend these days Prism have not sent any Christmas cards this year and instead have made a donation to our new charity, the Single Homeless Project. Please accept this newsletter as your very own digital Christmas card! The subject of the Christmas party was a hot topic this year and what to do in substitution of having one. I have heard of organisations doing some really innovative things this year so well done to those that sent hampers to their staff, put effort into making original zoom quizzes and those that managed to have socially distanced Christmas business meetings, some lovely ideas and creativity took place this year!
At the time of writing we are (hopefully) at the end of the Brexit trade negotiations. They seem to be resting on fishing rights. The question on all of our lips is… will our fish and chips be cheaper? (plant-based fish options are available, especially in East London outlets, message me for details!). Here’s to a speedy conclusion so we can start 2021 without this uncertainty. In technology news there was so much happening in December that we’re spoilt for choice! See below for our highlights on this month’s industry mergers, acquisitions and tech news.
Despite 2020 being well, 2020, Prism have had some great innovations this year with our Product Launch, new Blog site ‘The Thought Lab’ and have been really proud sponsors of the London DevOps and WinOps virtual meetups, which despite going virtual, have been very active throughout 2020.
Let’s look forward to having a great 2021 and get in touch with me personally to tee up a chat in January around hiring/career plans or around partnerships in the DevOps community events we sponsor. Let’s make sure we have a swift and positive start to 2021!
Thank you to all our customers, community, partners and Prism Digital friends and family for working with us and supporting us this year.
Wishing you a Happy Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
Alex (DevOps) Dover.
