Upcoming changes to the National Science Foundation (NSF) Biographical Sketch format

NSF is standardizing the format for biographical sketches, which are required for all senior personnel included in a proposal.
White House FY21 R&D Budget Priorities Memo

The memo includes five R&D Budgetary Priorities and five “Priority Crosscutting Actions.” Of note, new areas of focus appear to be critical infrastructure, critical materials, and protecting U.S. research assets.

DER will be hosting "DER is Here to Help" seminar on September 17th from 12-1PM. Look out for more information!

Representatives from MSU-T will be here on October 22nd from 12-1PM. Look out for more information on this seminar! 
Tuesday, September 10, 2019 - 12:00 PM

The presentation will give an overview of renewable energy, engine emissions and environmental fluid mechanics (pollution dispersion) at QUT. Recent projects to be discussed include:

  • Renewable fuels (hydrothermal liquefaction, tire oil, biodiesel and algae based fuels)
  • Real time emission measurements in ships, trucks and commercial vehicles
  • Environmental fluid mechanics using Lagrangian techniques for pollution dispersion

Bonus: There will be open time from 1-3pm following the seminar to meet with Dr. Brown in small groups to discuss topics of mutual interest.
