Rabbi Manis Friedman: Advice Every Dating Bochur Needs to Hear

Shadchan Interview: Mrs. Fraida Estrin of Pittsburgh, PA

Q.聽How did you get involved in Shidduchim?

A.聽The first Shidduch I made was an older couple who were traditional but not frum. When I moved to Pittsburgh, someone encouraged me to introduce 'older singles'. But when my own children were dating, I began exchanging some of the names with people who seemed more appropriate for others.

Q.聽What Shidduchim do you focus on?

A.聽聽I focus on those in their聽 20's & 30's who come from Baal Tshuva families.

Q. What advise do you have to people in the Parsha?

A.聽My advice is to look for Midas Tovos, before all else. And for the parents to find a Shidduch appropriate for their child, rather than themselves.
