We’ve also got a lot going on at Lussmanns to smile about too,  from new specials, Mother’s Day plans and our Great British Supplier who will also be working with us on launching our 2019 Supper Club series… read on!

NEW MONTH, NEW DISHES

Spring is just peeking through so you’ll find colourful, vibrant ingredients on our March specials.  

Make sure you check out the Wobbly Bottom Goats Cheese Croquettes with roast pepper and shallots;  our delicious Broccoli Soup with maple, lemon and thyme and the Organic Salt Marsh Lamb Salad.

On Tuesday 14th May, I will host the first in our 2019 series of Supper Clubs, alongside Jenny of Rubies in the Rubble to mark two events, St Albans Sustainable Festival (11th May – 1st June) and National Vegetarian Week (13th – 19th May). Diners will be treated to a collaborative four course vegetarian menu at Lussmanns St Albans using their Condiments with a Conscience.

Warriors on waste and downright cool worthwhile brand is our Great British Supplier of the Month - Rubies in the Rubble. Born out of a desire to rescue the ‘ugly’ fruit and vegetables and turn them into Condiments with a Conscience, Rubies in the Rubble now have a range of award-winning relishes, ketchups, chutneys and mayo in its stable all made sustainably from surplus ingredients that would otherwise go to waste.
