The European Climate and Energy Modelling Platform (ECEMP) is an emblematic conference on exchanging research, development, and practice of energy and climate modelling in Europe. Towards fostering cooperation in the European modelling community, DIAMOND actively supports the European Climate and Energy Modelling Forum’s endeavour.
The hybrid conference will take place in October 2024 (mostly online with few hybrid sessions), featuring segments dedicated to policy-relevant research results as well as in-depth discussions on the latest trends in modelling development. In particular, this year’s theme focuses on:
“Key policy measures and innovations for 2030 – 2040, prioritizing infrastructure investments, implementation barriers, and insights from modelling intercomparison in energy-climate transition analyses.”
The event will span across two days, based on the following dimensions:
- Day 1: Key insights and facts from modelling results for current policy relevant issues
- Day 2: Model development, model intercomparison, Energy-Climate model extensions, detail sector models or analyses.
The Call for abstracts and posters is now open through this link, and the deadline for submissions is July 1st, 2024!
