On the 17th of Cheshvan, 100+ singles attended a Meet Shadchanim Event in Kfar Chabad. Shadchanim Nitza Amitai, Chana Ben Shachar, Bilha Bar-Lev, Shoshana Goodman, Nechama Galinsky, Ruth Dales, Shaindy Havlin, Fishel Henig, Yocheved Hershkowitz, Batya Zand, Ortal Chanzin, Yehuda Cohen, Malka Cohen, Petachya Lipsker, Chana Margolin, Sigal Suisa, Feigy Slavin, Miriam Portnoy, Shoshi Pinchasi, Heidi Amit and Sara Tzipori came from all corners of Israel to meet singles and help facilitate Shidduchim.

Shadchan Chani Raksin relates: "I saw the Choson's resume on ChabadMatch and was working with them for years. This July, a mother reached out from Boro Park, about her daughter. They were not Chabad and I advised her that I only work with Chabad. She replied that my daughter became Chabad, she learns Tanya and wants a learner. I said I'll try to think. I really wanted to help her. I set her up once but it didn't work out. That helped get a better understanding of what a special gem of a girl she is and what type of boy would work for her. I had this flashing thought on Rosh Hashana by the nigunim before Tekios of the Shidduch. It took me some time to assess the situation before suggesting it & BH they are engaged now. The amazing Hashgacha Pratis here is as follows: The Kallah's family is close to Rabbi Pesach Kron and her mother met him in the summer and requested a Bracha for a Shidduch for her daughter. He closed his eyes and with his great concentration told her that her Shidduch will come this Rosh Hashana. That's when I got the idea for the Shidduch!"

The Shlesinger family from Alon Shvut was vacationing in Northern Israel. Their 28-year old son, Elisha, was driving up to be with them for Shabbat. He needed to refuel, but kept missing the turn offs as he sped toward his destination. After passing five gas stations, he finally decided to pull into the next one. He looked at his watch. It was 3 hours before Shabbat, and he was an hour from his destination. All in all, the timing was good.
