At the moment, we are collecting all kinds of items to take to the eastern and southern frontline areas, as with the most recent Russian offensive there is another wave of refugees, who are travelling distances of 40 to 50 km. Once the offensive is over, they return only to find that, unfortunately for many of them, their homes have been destroyed and they have nowhere else to go. Therefore, they need material, spiritual and mental health support.
We frequently have to act as counsellors to try and calm them down and help them to find solutions to the problems they are facing. The same goes for job searching, which is very important. 24th February marked the second anniversary of the outbreak of war with the Russians, and on that day we declared a day of prayer and fasting for victory over evil, the end of the war, and for peace to come to Ukraine.
Please pray for us and the people of Ukraine because everyone has had enough of the war and the fact that the situation on the front continues to deteriorate. For four days in a row, Ukrainian soldiers have been buried in our community. Yesterday, a soldier was buried in our village.
