A few months ago, we introduced private messages in the NomadMania app (iphone/android) enabling our members to communicate directly. 

This proved to be a valuable upgrade since our community is all about meaningful connections with travellers from all over the world. 

Now we are thrilled to report that messages are enabled in our web version.

You can also create group chats to arrange trips together or simply keep in touch with your NomadMania friends. But remember that in order to start a conversation you have to be a Trusted Member (*** for security reasons).

If you're part of any group chat, you can use the same filters as we have in the Master Ranking. (*** this feature is currently available only in the app).

Homecoming of the Filipina Travel Legends

Our Committee Members Konstantin Liorek and Dondon Bales joined the Philippines Homecoming of the Filipina Travel Legends Odette Ricasa, Luisa Yu, and Kach Umandap in Manila!

The culmination took place at Malacañang Palace on April 24, 2025, where the President of the Philippines himself officially recognised the Filipina Travel Legends for visiting all 193 UN countries — a rare and extraordinary feat achieved by fewer than 500 people verified worldwide.

New Envoy to the Philippines

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Djosa Mae Richards as our Envoy to the Philippines.

As a NomadMania Envoy, Djosa will serve as the primary liaison between NomadMania and the Filipino travel community. With her exceptional creativity, energy, and deep understanding, she is uniquely positioned to take on this important role.
