Pelvic Health Physical Therapy in the Time of COVID-19
This current pandemic caused by the spherical RNA virus, COVID-19, has turned the world upside down and certainly impacted the practice of physical therapy.
Are you working with individuals infected with COVID-19? Have you been seeing any pregnant or post-partum women who have been infected? How has your practice changed during this pandemic? Are you working directly with women’s health or pelvic health clients at this time. Are you practicing by means of using telehealth?
The editors of JWHPT invite you to submit a brief case report or clinical commentary on your experiences as a women’s and pelvic health physical therapist in dealing with the examination and management of individuals with COVID-19. Sharing your knowledge and experiences with this disease will help us all.
Please feel free to contact me if you have questions or I can assist you in this process.
Take care and stay safe,
