Join Theatre by the Lake for a fun, wild and boisterous adaptation of Robert Macfarlane and Jackie Morris' magical book. The show is full of paw-tapping music and dancing, played live on-stage by talented actor-musicians. It's going down a storm on its tour so far and will be with us in Keswick for just a short run of dates. Listed as one of the top shows to see in 2023 and awarded a 4 Star review by The Guardian who said “Enchanting musical has an abundance of magic” this is one to watch!
A girl with no name finds a magical book of spells that conjures up a wild world. As our heroine journeys through this world, she learns the dandelion time, meets a boy who turns into a seal, flies with band of jackdaws and battles with conkers – all on a quest to find that which has been lost.
‘The Lost Spells’ is riot of colour that celebrates the magic, power and wonder of nature.
Theatre by the Lake will also be announcing some exciting workshops for young people and talks very soon - bookmark their events page to check for updates.
