Join other readers across the county in Mercer County’s new Grab & Go Book Club! In each book, you will find discussion questions for this month’s selection — along with recipes and background information relevant to the story

The Adult book for this month  is  Love Unexpected by Jody Hedlund.

You can pick up a copy of the book at the Main Library or any of our Branches.

Miss Amy and Miss Bink are so happy to be able to see the kids in person again and their story times are  better than ever! Be sure to register for in-person story time at register.mercerlibrary.org. Marion (Chickasaw) Branch Events

Thursday morning story time will be held outside every Thursday morning at 10:30 am weather permitting.  Check our Facebook page for updates.

Take and make craft for May is a stained glass picture.  These crafts will be available for pickup starting May 3rd, while they last.

Book Discussion

Book discussion group: Book Discussion Group will meet May 4th at 7 pm in the library basement.  The book being discussed this month is "Playing Nice" by JP Delaney.  

 

 

Next month's book will be "The Road to Bittersweet" by Donna Everhart.

Pick Up Books Anytime/Any Day

Don't forget to take advantage of the Mendon 24/7 Book Lockers.  Life can be busy and unpredictable so we are here to make one very important task a little more convenient!  Pick up your books when YOU have time.  Pick up books in the middle of the night, very early in the morning, or even on a Sunday. Please only register for one, it will be the same Story time both times.

Book Club

Great Beginnings Book Club: The Book for this month  is  Love Unexpected by Jody Hedlund.

This is a Grab and Go Book Club. Stop by the library to pick up a copy of the book and a fun filled packet that will include discussion questions, history and a recipe or two with each copy of the book.

Starting May 3rd Grab and Go Bag Mother's Day Craft. 

Read - N- Go with story time Pro:  Bags that Preschoolers and younger can pick up at any time. They have two books and other surprises that go along with the books inside. Each bag they check out is different.
