| Our Current Teaching Series |
|
|
Weâre starting a new series where we take an honest look at some of lifeâs biggest and most interesting questionsâno matter where you are in your faith journey.
Whether youâve followed Jesus for years, youâre just starting to explore, or youâre not even sure what you believe, this is a space for you. You donât have to have it all figured out to show up.
Together, weâll open the Bible and wrestle with questions like:
4/12: What does the arrival of A.I. mean for Christians? 4/19: Who are the angels and demons? 4/26: How should we feel about Christian hypocrisy? 5/3: What happens when I pray? 5/10: Whatâs the difference between Christianity and a cult? 5/17: What is âspeaking in tonguesâ?
If youâve ever had questions, doubts, or curiosity about faithâyouâre not alone. And youâre invited.
Come as you are, bring your questions, and join us for a series thatâs both honest and hopeful.

| Providing gospel-centered care, medical services, and support to men and women facing unplanned pregnancies in our community. |
|
| Palmetto Womenâs Center |
|
|
Palmetto Womenâs Center exists to promote life by walking alongside individuals facing unplanned pregnancies with compassion, truth, and the hope of the Gospel. Since its humble beginnings in a living room, the center has now served over 40,000 clients in the York and Chester areasâoffering free pregnancy services, counseling, parenting education, and ongoing support for both women and men. Their heart is not only to help people choose life for their unborn child, but also to experience eternal life through Christ and abundant life in Him.
As a church, we have unique opportunities throughout the year to partner with Palmetto Womenâs Center and support the life-changing work they are doing in our community.
There are several ongoing ways to be involved: you can give through one-time donations, become a monthly partner to provide consistent support, or explore legacy giving through planned or IRA contributions. You can donate needed material items for babies and the center, or even support through event sponsorships that help fund their ministry. If youâre interested in more hands-on involvement, consider serving as a Client Advocate, Dad Coach, or BrightCourse mentorâwalking directly with clients during a critical season of their lives.
Please pray for the staff and volunteers to serve with wisdom, compassion, and boldness, and for every client to experience both practical care and the life-changing love of Jesus.

| Reaching young people across the Middle East and North Africa with the Gospel through relational ministry, leadership development, and life-changing camp experiences. |
|
| YoungLife MENA (Middle East/North Africa) |
|
|
For the past 15 years, Young Life MENA has been faithfully sharing the hope of Jesus with thousands of students across regions like North Africa, Israel, Jordan, Turkey, and beyond. In 2025 alone, more than 2,700 young people attended camp and heard the Gospel in seven different languages, while over 3,300 kids are known by name and 1,400 attend weekly clubsâspaces where caring leaders show up consistently to build relationships and point students to Christ. Even in places facing conflict, displacement, and spiritual resistance, God is opening doorsâfrom growing ministries in Morocco and Tunisia to new opportunities in Palestine, Jordan, and among refugee populations in Turkey.
As a church, we can come alongside this work by praying for endurance and boldness for staff and volunteer leaders, for open hearts among students, and for continued access in areas where the Gospel is not easily received. Pray especially for new and developing ministries in Egypt, Lebanon, and Iraqi Kurdistan, and for wisdom as they expand into additional countries.
If youâre interested in getting involved, consider supporting this ministry financially, staying engaged with updates, and being open to opportunities to serve or connect globally as the Lord leads.

SERVE WITH US AT AGAPE ACRES đż
Looking for a way to jump in and serve during Good Neighbor America, but can't come to the Tender Hearts or Habitat Serve Days?
Weâre heading to Agape Acres on Saturday, May 9th to help with some hands-on projectsâand thereâs something for everyone (even the youngest helpers!).
Projects include:
âą Staining
âą Spring cleaning
âą Weeding + fresh mulch
âą Refreshing landscaping around the barn
â° Current time: 9â11AM
(Extended hours possible from 8AMâ12PM if we have enough volunteers!)
This is a great opportunity to serve side-by-side and make a tangible difference together.
Sign up and come ready to get your hands dirty in the best way. đ Please text to RSVP using the number in the flyer above.
đ Canât make it in person? You can still help. Agape Acres is in need of supplies like stain and landscaping materials. If youâre out of town or unavailable to serve physically, this is a great way to contribute and still make an impact.
Because being a good neighbor isnât just about showing upâitâs about stepping in wherever you can.

WOMEN BUILD WITH HABITAT FOR HUMANITY đ đȘ
Weâre excited to share a special Good Neighbor America opportunity to serve with Habitat for Humanity during their Women Build initiative on May 16th.
We would especially love to have CCLW volunteers participate in this day of impact.
Women Build empowers women to help address the need for safe, affordable housing through hands-on construction and community service. Itâs open to all skill levelsâand all gendersâand no construction experience is needed. Training will be provided on-site.
This is a powerful opportunity to:
âą Step into hands-on home construction
âą Serve alongside others in our community
âą Help create safe, affordable housing for families
âą Be part of breaking down barriers to homeownership
Habitat notes that there are a few last-minute needs, and some opportunities are even youth-friendly, depending on age requirements.
It may also be a great fit for groups like Adultish, especially for those ready to jump in and serve with âstrong armsâ and willing hearts.
Because one home at a time, weâre helping build stronger communities. đ

FOOD ASSISTANCE FOR THE BLESSING BOX
Clover Area Assistance Center (CAAC) prevailed on CCLW to install a mini pantry (Blessing Box) in 2023. The canned goods left in the box are intended for the local homeless as well as families who need help stretching their food supply. The Blessing Box is on the parking lot side of our church (follow the signs from Highway 49).
We need your help. In order to keep this pantry filled with appropriate foodstuffs, we ask that you buy a few extra cans of food (see the separate list) when you are grocery shopping each week. Simply place them directly in the Blessing Box or bring them inside the church. A member of the Missions Committee will do the rest.

Youth Tribe Prom Night is May 17, and itâs shaping up to be a really fun night.
