We’re starting a new series where we take an honest look at some of life’s biggest and most interesting questions—no matter where you are in your faith journey.

Whether you’ve followed Jesus for years, you’re just starting to explore, or you’re not even sure what you believe, this is a space for you. You don’t have to have it all figured out to show up.

Together, we’ll open the Bible and wrestle with questions like:

4/12: What does the arrival of A.I. mean for Christians?
4/19: Who are the angels and demons?
4/26: How should we feel about Christian hypocrisy?
5/3: What happens when I pray?
5/10: What’s the difference between Christianity and a cult?
5/17: What is “speaking in tongues”?

If you’ve ever had questions, doubts, or curiosity about faith—you’re not alone. And you’re invited.

Come as you are, bring your questions, and join us for a series that’s both honest and hopeful.

Our Exaltation Singers play a vital role in leading our church in worship, and we’d love to invite more voices to join this meaningful ministry. 

If you enjoy singing and have a heart for worship, this is a beautiful way to serve, grow, and be part of a team that helps set the tone for our Sunday gatherings. No matter where you are in your musical journey, there’s a place for you here.

Time Commitment (Sunday Mornings):

• 8:30–8:55 am — Singers rehearsal

• 8:55–9:15 am — Singers & Orchestra rehearsal

• 9:30 am — First Worship Service

• 11:00 am — Second Worship Service

Good Neighbor Day America is a nationwide movement to inspire the good Neighbor in every American through love, kindness and service. We are proud to partner with America250 to honor our country's 250th Anniversary. CCLW has the opportunity to come alongside churches all over the country to serve those in our communities.

In honor of Good Neighbor America day, we have a few opportunities to serve which you can see basic information about above, but for more detailed information please look at each event listed below.

NATIONAL DAY OF MISSIONS 🤝

This Good Neighbor Day, we’re stepping out to serve right here in our community.

Join us at Tender Hearts on Wednesday, May 13th from 10AM–12PM for a hands-on workday making a real impact.

Projects may include:
• Beautifying transitional homes in and around the property
• Restocking the York thrift store
• Serving alongside the master gardener in the Empowerment Garden
• Sorting donations in the warehouse

Whether you love being outside, organizing, or just jumping in wherever needed—there’s a place for you.

Come be part of bringing practical care to our neighbors. 💛

SERVE WITH US AT AGAPE ACRES 🌿

Looking for a way to jump in and serve during Good Neighbor America, but can't come to the Tender Hearts or Habitat Serve Days?

We’re heading to Agape Acres on Saturday, May 9th to help with some hands-on projects—and there’s something for everyone (even the youngest helpers!).

Projects include:
• Staining
• Spring cleaning
• Weeding + fresh mulch
• Refreshing landscaping around the barn

⏰ Current time: 9–11AM
(Extended hours possible from 8AM–12PM if we have enough volunteers!)

This is a great opportunity to serve side-by-side and make a tangible difference together.

Agape Acres is in need of supplies like stain and landscaping materials.
If you’re out of town or unavailable to serve physically, this is a great way to contribute and still make an impact.

WOMEN BUILD WITH HABITAT FOR HUMANITY 🏠💪

We’re excited to share a special Good Neighbor America opportunity to serve with Habitat for Humanity during their Women Build initiative on May 16th.

We would especially love to have CCLW volunteers participate in this day of impact.

Women Build empowers women to help address the need for safe, affordable housing through hands-on construction and community service. It’s open to all skill levels—and all genders—and no construction experience is needed. Training will be provided on-site.

This is a powerful opportunity to:
• Step into hands-on home construction
• Serve alongside others in our community
• Help create safe, affordable housing for families
• Be part of breaking down barriers to homeownership

Habitat notes that there are a few last-minute needs, and some opportunities are even youth-friendly, depending on age requirements.

It may also be a great fit for groups like Adultish, especially for those ready to jump in and serve with “strong arms” and willing hearts. 

Because one home at a time, we’re helping build stronger communities. 💛
