Hi !

Like I mentioned in a previous newsletter, I'm excited to bring you a Romance Book of the Month again this year!

Once a month, I'll feature a book from another sweet romance author that you can get free when you join the author's newsletter.

This month, I'd like to introduce you to Mary Carson and her book FROM ME TO YOU!

Theo Hayes thinks he’s all that.

And if he hadn’t broken my heart three years ago, I might think so too.

Now we’re alone—on top of a mountain—in a broken-down car—in the freezing cold—with just the backseat and each other to keep warm.

How did this happen? My best friend’s wedding weekend was supposed to be an escape. The perfect thing to keep my mind off my problems. But one matchmaking relative and a whole lot of whiskey later, things are not going my way.

He’s giving me that devastating smile, the one I never could resist, and I’m afraid of what might happen if I give in this time.

He says he’s a changed man and wants to prove it. But everyone knows that actions speak louder than words.

Can I trust him when he says he wants a second chance?

Or should I take my heart and run—just as soon as I get this blasted car started?

From Me To You is a sweet and funny one-hour read, set in the fictional small town of Rixburg, West Virginia. If you like a swoony hot hero who won’t give up on his girl, second chance romance, being trapped in a car on top of a mountain (who doesn’t!), and an amazing group of friends and family, you'll love From Me To You! THIS WEEK I AM...

Reading: I'm in-between fiction books at the moment, so the non-fiction book I've been reading most recently is 101 Essays that will Change the way You Think by Brianna Wiest. I love her insights and it has been interesting digging into the different topics. I've had several "aha" moments and highly recommend it.

Watching: If you know me, you know that I'm a huge fan of the Bachelor franchise (so much so, that I wrote a book with a very similar reality TV dating show. *cough, cough* Assisting My Brother's Best Friend). So, of course, once the new season of The Bachelor started airing last month, I had to start watching it. I'm really enjoying it so far. Zach seems like a really great guy and I'm crossing my fingers that this season will finally have a happy ending. 🤞

Listening: I'm still listening to the Pod Meets World podcast (featuring the cast of Boy Meets World) and am really enjoying it. It is fun reliving my childhood a little bit and getting a peek behind the scenes. If you were a 90's kid and loved TGIF like I did, you may enjoy this one.

Until next time!

A dark Chemistry lab. A fake British accent. It's all fun and games until somebody falls in love.
