MRV Jackets Aid Victims of Natural Disasters and Accidents

MRV stores emergency first aid kits on both sides of the jacket, secured with zips, and it can be turned into a stretcher that is equipped with handles. On top of that, it also has buoy on its collar. The multi-purpose jacket was designed not only to be comfortable for its wearers, but also to function as first aid rescue equipment since the emergency treatment tools are attached to it. Read More

Innovation Enables Agriculture via PV Structured Solar Farm

UPM researchers succeeded in developing racks for agricultural activities and drying of harvested crops by placing the racks under Photovoltaic (PV) structures at PV solar farms. The planting tool, known as ‘A Retractable Drying and Planting Rack for AgroPhotovoltaics Farm’, is made of stainless steel and has two racks.  The lower rack is for planting purposes, while the upper rack is for drying the harvested crops. Read More
