Happy Friday Friends!

"Welcome back to "The Cre8tive Life!"- your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and cool things to check out!

I am officially back in the "Concrete Jungle" from an inspirational, refreshing, and therapeutic trip visiting my family in New Orleans. It's hard to believe how much we packed in, and how every trip that I have ever made to New Orleans has been so very different. It is such a special place, and I highly encourage you to go and check it out- if you have never been there before. There are so many pockets of surprises, gems, jewels, art, and AMAZING food!!! Outside of that, I came fresh off the plane (literally brought my luggage with me) and went to a Venture Capital networking event, where I learned a lot  about trends within the industry; and, even got to hear the sounds of one of my favorite musicians, Emily King, who they featured as a special guest! This coming week, I am planning on working on some of my 2020 goals, and looking for new client work.

Be sure to check out my pictures, video highlights, stories, and other life musings on my personal instagram page (@e101) and official brand page (@thecre8tiveartisan) throughout the week---I try to post some of my randomness there.

Have an AMAZING weekend and upcoming week!

My weekly (random) compilation of some of my favorite "cre8tive" things that I want to share:

  • FAVORITE WORD: Sophrosyne: (noun) a healthy state of mind, characterized by self-control, moderation, and a deep awareness of one's true self, and resulting in true happiness

  • ADVICE: “It's better to be a lonely lion than a popular sheep." - Anonymous

  • MOOD MUSIC: After listening to Emily King live earlier this week, I am reflecting back to one of my favorites of hers, "In My Evolution." Love this song.

  • RANDOM RECOMMENDATION: While sitting in my "flight is totally booked, and you have no other choice except the middle" seat back to New York, I stumbled upon this "Where's My Roy Cohn" documentary...very interesting to say the least... especially given our current state of the world. I recommend it for those into learning about history and political dealings.

  • COOKERY MAGIC:  Winter time is all about coziness and comfort. And, if this GARLIC BREAD GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH recipe doesn't exude that, then I simply do not know what does. I can't wait to try it out!

  • LIFESTYLE TIP: Tired of snack boxes taking up space in your kitchen? Get a clear hanging shoe rack, and put it on the back door of your pantry. Then, put your small, individually wrapped snacks in the pockets, and throw out the larger packaging!

I'm a bit tired and drained-so, no big life musing write-up this week. Instead, I am sharing this graphic and musing from Cleo Wade that I thought to be a great way to tap into 2020 intention and goal setting. I hope it sparks something within you as well!

This week's challenge is to set an intention for something that you want to accomplish by the end of this month, and set an action plan to achieve it.

Thank you to everyone that has filled out the survey! I will be sharing some upcoming events that I have been working on in the next couple of newsletters- so stay tuned for more info and invites!

For those who haven't filled out the survey, I can definitely still use your feedback. So, if you have not done so already, please take  5 minutes to fill out:

Thanks sooooooo much in advance for your time!

***Totally disregard this part of the newsletter if you have already done this.

Lastly, if you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!

*"The Cre8tive Life" is the weekly "feel good" component of my consultancy, The Cre8tive Artisan, which is where I "make the magic happen" and curate engaging lifestyle events that help connect us humans in deeper ways. Feel free to CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE to see what I do, and let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you out! As always, if this newsletter is "not your thing", please feel free to unsubscribe (however, I really hope you don't).
