What we often miss in the rituals we create is the meaning and the
habit which forms the foundation of them. We often get tied up, albeit obsessed, with
the externalities of it all.
It’s not all about the window dressing. It was never about the window dressing.
This goes for Monday-Sundays. And it goes for magick.
Ritual is all about me and what I bring to it.
And it's all about you and what you bring to it.
The will, intent and the inner simplicity we bring to magick is what makes it powerful. It’s what makes ritual ritual.
Not the crystals. Or the altar cloth. Or even the spells to chant.
It's not even that phase of the phone or the astrology.
They're all just window dressing at the end of the day.
The power of ritual is all wrapped up in the power of you.
And this is where it gets complicated because we are often our own worst enemies, even when we're not intending to.
As my Higher Self loves to say: humans like to complicate things.
We're often doing it unconsciously. We're running on auto-pilot.
Are you as clear in yourself and as powerful as you want to be?
As you could be?
As you will be?
This is where I love to land as a tarot reader and a coach. This is
the sweet spot of a word witch. I can help you clear the internal
brambles so you don’t get caught on yourself.
In old stories.
Old feelings.
In re-running habitual patterns of behaviour fuelled by doubt, fear, self sabotage or any of the other million ways us humans have
learnt to get in our own way.
