So, you've almost melted your credit card with Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Could you please check to see if there's a little left over for some organizations that serve the needy? You might consider giving to the following:

  • Church ministries
  • Food pantry
  • Homeless shelter
  • Utility companies to pay bills for the needy
  • Animal shelters

If you'd like a list of specific non-profits to which I donate, please jot me an email.
Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference

I put on my cap of courage and attended the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference two weeks ago in person. I'm so glad I did. While there were only 200 attendees, compared to the usual 500, I made some like-minded friends. I also met with a couple publishers and agents. I'll let you know if anyone shows any interest in The Demons Among Us.

If you're a writer, I highly recommend you attend this conference next May. Frank Peretti, best-selling Christian author of This Present Darkness, will be teaching.
