Mark the change of seasons with a visit to market this Friday to enjoy the local, seasonal goodness your farmers + producers are harvesting and preparing for you this week!
It's going to feel like fall, and we have fabulous, flavorful + FULL lineup including a new producer (calling all pickle people!) plus the return of several less-frequent favorites.
Keep reading for details from all 22 producers scheduled to be there!
A few things to note:
- For customers using WIC FMNP or Senior FMNP, get matching Veggie Bucks when you spend your Farmers Market Nutrition Program checks with participating produce farms at market! (King's, Swallow Hill, Honeymoon, Rex Farms) You can then spend those Veggie Bucks for any fresh produce at market!
- Flying Plow can also now match SNAP purchases with Veggie Bucks!
See you this Friday 3–6 PM just outside The Creamery!

"Hello everyone! I look forward to meeting you at market this week! I am Joel van Bemmelen. I started this company in 2019 but have been cooking all my life!
I find great joy in sharing the pickles + hot sauces that I have worked hard to perfect over the years. Through much trial and error I believe I have come up with the perfect taste and would love for everyone to try it. I was tired of always being disappointed with the pickles and hot sauces at the stores — the same old cayenne pepper with vinegar mixes and pickles that are bland and full of dyes and artificial flavorings and preservatives. Here at JVB Brothers’ Co. we are local and use local ingredients as well as no dyes, artificial flavors, preservatives, no GMOs.
Check out our website for cool articles + recipes I created to incorporate our products. All products are produced in a commercial kitchen on our farm in Chester Springs, PA.
Our pickle varieties: horseradish, garlic dill, bacon, sweet, spicy, and sour
Hot sauce varieties: Jalapeño mango blend, habanero blend, ghost/reaper blend
Preorders are welcomed! In your cart, please note KSQ in "Add a Note" and select free Store Pickup. Or you can email us!"

Rain or Shine!
We're committed to being a rain or shine market! If there are any changes due to extreme conditions, we will provide updates via email and social media. Check Facebook & Instagramif you're uncertain on market day.
Location & Parking
Find us in the parking area of The Creamery of Kennett Square @ 401 Birch St. The Creamery is open starting at 4pm on Fridays.
FREE PARKING is available on the WEST side of 226 Birch St (across the street from Braeloch Brewing) or at the office adjacent to The Creamery @ 455 Birch St. We encourage you to use the lots versus the street to be respectful to residents on Birch.
ACCESSIBILITY: Three standard parking spaces (not ADA) in the adjacent lot are reserved for customers with limited mobility. Two designated accessible parking spaces are located at the WEST end of The Creamery building. Please note that the lot is not an entirely smooth paved surface, though it is relatively flat. If you need any assistance to shop, please let us know how we can help!
Market Shopping Tips
- Preorders continue to be helpful for both producers & customers, so take advantage of that option as available to secure exactly what you need for the week.
- BRING CASH as not all vendors accept cards or have a minimum for card use. (And cash is always appreciated, as the fees for card use add up for small businesses!)
- SNAP is now accepted by Flying Plow Farm.
- WIC FMNP & Senior FMNP checks are welcomed by our PA-based farms for produce purchases: King's Sweet Corn, Swallow Hill & Rex Farms Orchard.
- Masks are not required for vendors or guests, but please wear one as you as you feel most comfortable.
- Feel free to use the red wagons at market entry to help carry your load as you shop — just return when done!
Market Manners for Dogs
- Well-behaved pups kept on a short, non-retractable leash are welcome at market!
- Please be sure your dog is comfortable walking calmly past people and other pups of all sizes without lunging, barking, or growling. If you are unsure, please be kind to your dog and others by not bringing them to market.
- If your dog becomes stressed or uncomfortable, please quickly step out of the market area.
- Mind your dog's manners at vendor tables — no jumping up, licking, or sniffing the product, please.
- We appreciate your consideration to keep all safe and happy!
