Wow, it has been some time! Where did March go? Happy April!
March came in and out like a thief! I didn't even see it leaving until it was 2 weeks gone! I can't even use writing as an excuse since I honestly haven't been doing much of that. What I can tell you is that I am back with a vengeance, and have a ton of stuff planned for the second half of the year!
I did manage to squeeze in a 5K this month, and while I certainly am not a runner, I sure did have fun challenging myself to the walk! I have a new personal best to beat and have started moving more and eating less, even if the image of "Baby Yoda" is saying something completely different. No chocolate for this girl... well maybe one piece if I finish my manuscripts!
Web of Lies is on deck and will be the first book I finish. I have given myself until the end of April to have the second draft done to the point where I can send it to my editor for content notes. I am so close to being there, just need a few days of quality time with my characters. Fingers crossed I will get there.
I have an Anthology I've committed to for my Greater Detroit Romance Writers group, and the deadline is a little sooner than I would have liked, but it will be good for me or at least that is what I keep telling myself. I do have some bones and a few character traits, other than that not a whole lot. The story will be a novelette, and will be about the length of Jinni's Wish. In order to pull it off I need all hands on deck, which is where you will come in. More on that below.
I have events being lined up now, and an extra special trip planned that I can't wait to tell you about. I also have an extra special release planned for the fall, so while I feel like I am spinning my wheels, I am actually making more progress than I give myself credit for.
In the meantime, I hope you are all happy, healthy, and reading some amazing stuff! Drop me a line and let me know how you are doing, I always love hearing from you! Clicking below will get you to a list of ways to get a hold of me! Chat soon!
