The Rocky Horror Picture show is available to stream on most platforms, you just need to search for it. The 1975 indie musical comedy horror launched the careers of actors such as Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick and Meat Loaf.
The film was written by Jim Sharman and Richard O'Brien, directed by Sharman. O'Brien originally wrote it as a stage production and it premiered in a small 60-seat theatre in London. It quickly moved to larger venues, eventually landing in New York. From there, it was decided they would adapt it into a film. The film originally flopped, but then moved to midnight screenings, took on a life of its own and would go on to achieve a cult status that persists today.
Synopsis: A newly-engaged couple have a breakdown in an isolated area and must seek shelter at the bizarre residence of Dr. Frank-n-Furter.
