Dear USET/USET SPF Family,

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a Dear Tribal Leader Letter announcing a Tribal consultation on the Inflation Reduction Act. The purpose of this consultation is to receive feedback from Tribal Nations on how the agency can use funding from the Inflation Reduction Act to support Tribal Nations on advancing environmental and public health protection. Currently, the EPA has a 60-day window for Tribal consultation from October 28, 2022 to December 27, 2022.

EPA will also be hosting an informational webinar on programmatic funding authorized by the Inflation Reduction Act. Details regarding this informational webinar are as follows—
