News from the Field  ~ October 8, 2023

Today's newsletter was written by Nepali staff. It has been very lightly edited, with a goal of preserving the original wording wherever feasible. 

Greeting in the name of our savior Lord Jesus Christ, 

Hope you are all fine and we are also fine by the grace of Jesus. Today we would like to share good news. I hope you will appreciate after reading the good news. 

A few weeks ago our seven pastors of Jumla District went on outreach to Palata Rural Municipality. They began their journey at first by prayer from Rekhideu, Jumla to Palata Rural Municipality. They traveled a week by foot and reached almost 30 villages of that municipality. Many of the people never heard about Jesus before. 

While they were preaching the gospel, some people were protesting, but the work of preaching the gospel did not stop.  They shared the gospel to more than 700 hundred people and one family repent their sin. 

The villages where they preached: Chheda, Brakhi, Chhadpane, Danphe, Ookhda, Neta, Kanda,  Khalkati, Khina, Thaalla, Mahadev, Ghaulaghoha, Chhalla,  Dhirpu, Tirsu, Ghothaa Sulla, Raapuna, Gakhati, Naibada,  Sunbada, Besankot, Machhapani, Thuke, Dalit Basthi, Adibada. Those villages they have reached and preached about Jesus.

As you can see in the pictures: Pastors Gagan, Satal, Nar Bahadur, Devendra, Man Bahadur, Baala, Sarjan, going up and down for the expansion of the Lord's kingdom. They said it was a wonderful time to share the gospel in group. And they said that they got more courage and enthusiasm when they preached the gospel collectively.

Let us pray that their hard work will not be wasted but will bear fruits. Amen. Thank you.

the news that the God of Israel reigns!
